Wedding At Turner Hall Ballroom

In the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, amidst the charm and history of Turner Hall Ballroom, I had the honor of capturing the story of Ben & Bianca. As Wisconsin painted Milwaukee with hues of warmth and nostalgia, their wedding day unfolded like a fairy tale. 

I am an absolute sucker for the vibe of Turner Hall. This is such a beautiful place to have a wedding celebration.

Celebrating in Milwaukee

Ben and Bianca got married during the dark times when gathering in large groups was not exactly allowed. This was a one year celebration for them to actually get to celebrate with their families and friends! 

Envisioning a wedding that blended a little bit of vintage with modern elegance, Ben & Bianca knew that Turner Hall Ballroom was the ideal setting to bring their vision to life. With its rich history and incredible architecture Turner Hall Ballroom offers a phenomenal backdrop for a wedding celebration.

Turner Hall Ballroom Is The Perfect Backdrop For A Wedding Celebration

As August cast Milwaukee with its golden light, Ben & Bianca's wedding celebration was a stunner. We started the day in the golden hour evening sun. Always a great time for some photos!

We began with wrangling the family for some group photos and portraits of the couple and their adorable daughter. Making full use of the fire escape and all available photo options. The best photos during family photos are the in between moments with all the little ones running around and playing with their grandparents. This is really true for all times on a wedding day. The best moments are the little in between moments. 

I take no offense in this. Photos on this day at Turner Hall were not a priority. Taking time to actually be with their guests was a big number one on the agenda. So once we were done with our family photos and some portraits of them and their daughter, they got to be with their guests.

This is actually my biggest priority on a wedding day. I want you to be with your friends and family as much as possible. I want you to be able to celebrate with them, not me.

And as the sunlight faded from Turnerhall’s windows, the party really got going. Everyone danced the night away beneath the glittering lights of Turner Hall Ballroom.

Turner Hall Ballroom

Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Turner Hall Ballroom is a historic landmark that exudes old-world charm and elegance. With its high ceilings, stunning balcony, and grand staircase, it offers the perfect setting for couples seeking a wedding venue that is timeless and romantic.

Turner Hall Ballroom provides a backdrop that is unforgettable.

Having a beautiful venue like this makes everything else feel so much easier. You don’t have to decorate as much because the space is already fantastic. All angles make for great photos, there is no wandering around trying to find a good spot.

As I say farewell to Ben & Bianca and their Turner Hall Ballroom wedding, remember that there are no rules for your wedding. Celebrate you and your partner however you want. And don’t do anything just because you think you’re supposed to.
